Ari has turned into such a big girl with in the last few weeks. She is now in a Big girl bed, one night we decided to take the front off her crib. She watched us take it apart, we were a little worried what would happen at bed time. Bed time came and she laid down cried a little and went to sleep! YAY! We put pillows on the floor so when she fell out it would be a soft landing. The next morning i went in thinking she would be playing in the closet and have all her clothes thrown everywhere, to my surprise she was in bed sitting, playing with her baby, waiting for me.
The next big thing was a Hair cut. Easter Sunday i decided it was time for the mullet to go. SAD! After her bath while she was calm i cut her hair. She looks so much more grown up and acts like it too. It starts early in life, haircuts make you feel wonderful.
Then one night up in her room, i told her that soon the Nuk will have to go in the garbage. She said "Nuk garbage." ha she got out of bed went down stairs and threw her Nuk away. At the garbage she said " bye bye Nuk, Nuk garbage." I kind of freaked, but remembered that we do have another one. Eric brought her up to bed and she asked where the Nuk was, he reminded her that it was in the garbage and that was it. I can't believe it!
We have also been working on potty training. It is hard to do it when you have stuff to do out of the house every day. But she is doing well. She pooped a little in the potty, which is a huge deal! Hope i see that again. haha. the other day i didn't have a diaper on during the morning, just pants. Nap time came around so i put her down, she slept for 3 hours. I got her up and noticed i never put a diaper on her. oopsy daisy. She was DRY!!!! I was so shocked! So she can definitely hold it for a while. Then this morning she did not want to put her diaper on at all, she would sit on her potty chair watching yo gabba gabba. unfortunately she didn't pee at all, so im sure when i get her up from her nap she will have a full diaper. :) At least we are headed in the right direction.
