Sorry I am so bad at this blogging thing. I never update when i should, which makes for long posts. I never even update after the hospital on how home IV's were going. So i will start with that........HOME IV'S i got out of the hospital on a wed. by sat they took me off all meds because my skin was sore to the touch my neck was really sore and i was weak in the knees. The weakness in the knee's has happened before because of zyvox so they didn't want me going back on the IV, but to switch and take oral. the other 2 antibiotics were also stopped and started back on Monday with one and Tues with the other. Pain in my a**! Its has been a lot easier then i thought it would be with Ari. She is very good and knows that its mommy's medicine and to not touch it. I'm super excited because i get the PICC out tomorrow morning! So tonight is my last dreaded IV's. WOHOOOOO. I have finally been feeling better and can't wait to get it out. I have so much more energy its amazing. I hope it doesn't go away once i am off the drugs.
Ari has been cutting tons of teeth, the poor girl cut her molars before she had her front side teeth now those are all coming in. She has been attempting to say more words of course they don't come out right but very good attempts. She has also been waking up with a soaking wet diaper that leaks every morning. UGH. i guess we need to get night time diapers. Its so amazing how she knows exactly what we are saying and can do so many things, but can't get the word out yet.
Ari is now a little COWGIRL! She loves the pony and her new boots!
POTTY TIME
We also bought a potty chair she loves it. We are going to attempt to train her one of these weekends that we have nothing going on. If it doesn't work within 3 days then we will wait 6 weeks to try again. That's what they recommend anyways, pretty much if they don't get it then they are not ready yet. She has peed on the tile 2 times and she freaks out when it happens. haha so funny!
She has been playing with the neighbor kids when they get home from school. We have had the windows open being its been so nice so when she hears them come home, she grabs her shoes and points to the door. SO CUTE! They have 2 bunnies that are very nice and Ari pets them and screams at them haha. Today she followed the kids around and tried helping them fill the Halloween pumpkin bags with leaves. She cried when they took her bucket of leaves and dumped into the pumpkin bag.
Ari is going to be a bumble bee for Halloween. I'm hoping some of our friend have a Halloween party so we have something to dress up for. I love HALLOWEEN! Eric could care less, but i love dressing up!
As for this weekend we are going to Duluth on Sunday for our Anniversary. I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!! We are staying at a bed and breakfast in canal park right on the water. We are also going to have lunch with some friends that live up there. Duluth is where we went on our first trip. It was great then and will be even better this time! Happy Anniversary JOE AND CARLY!
Can you say Daddy's little Tomboy! At least she is holding a princess ball. haha
Have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!

Home from the HOSPITAL/ DMB
I am home now from the hospital. YEAH! I got home yesterday afternoon, it felt so good to be home and with my lil love bug. She now has a molar tooth, and is still a drool monster. She is getting funnier by the day, last night a lady from the Picc company came out to get me started on everything. Ari was smiling and laughing historically it was so funny. Sally (picc lady) has a 2 yr old and was just loving all the attention from Ari. She said if we ever need a baby sitter to give her a call. how sweet! Ari has a way with people and i love to watch it.
So as this is all going on Eric is busy online sending every person on Craigslist with Dave Matthews tickets emails. So the show started at 7pm we got the tickets at that time and got down there at about 8:45 he had just got on stage and played 1 song. WE had awesome seats we were the 7th row up right in front of the stage. When we got there i was thinking......I wonder where Kelly and KJ's seats are?? I was looking around and they were right in front of us. hahha it was crazy!
It was kind of hectic going on no notice. I was freaking out a bit on whether to go or not. But we had a great time! It was worth it!
So about the Hospital- my med times are super off from where i want them to be which is really frustrating. I have been so sleep deprived that this morning i was hooking up to the meds this morning at 7 am and at 11 went to get my phone upstairs and realized i forgot to do a med. Which now throws it all of schedule again. GRRRRRR! This is really difficult for me, because if dont like schedules that are so hectic. I like wiggle room. Thank god my mom is here today helping out. Plus when you are gone for a few days things also get pushed further down on the TO DO LIST. When Ari gets up from her nap we need to hit the road and get some of this crap out of the way. Walgreeens, costco, chiro, photo studio. Many phone calls that i am dreading to make. Cant wait for the weekend to relax and rest. One bummer- I am starting to get the same side effects from a med i was on last time and it makes me really dizzy and weak in the knees. I almost cant walk down the stairs.

PICC
The Dreaded Picc line. The white cotton around my arm is off now. The actual Picc is flat on my skin just alot of bandages and tape holding it on. I wanted to record the procedure but they had to drape me and have everything sanitary, which im sure my computer is not up to snuff. So a picture is all i have for you.
HOSPITAL
Down in St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Will be here for 3 days which isn't that bad, better than a week which is a typical CF tune-up. I got here at 10am this morning got a IV in, in case i need to start meds before they get a PICC line placed. Ate which was delicious!! They have a new menu and it has alot to choose from. The best thus far has been the Spinach chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. YUMMY! the other cool thing is i can order whenever i want and they bring it right up to my room so its hot. My friend Phil also has Cf and he is in the hospital this week too. Which is super cool because if i wear a mask we can go for walks and hopefully walk across the street to CARIBOU.
This is by far the craziest schedule i have ever had while in the hospital, but its worth it because i want to feel amazing after this. Especially for going into the cold months.
I will be on 4 different antibiotics through the PICC line
Get Beatings 4 times a day (similar to the vest)
A stationary bike
Lots of eating
Sleeping
Speaking of Eating If i gain 7lbs which will put me at 135. Eric is going to buy me a NEW PURSE!!!! The Stipulations= Can't be over $100.00, i have to gain it by the end of the year, and It has to be a morning weight. It cant be me eating a big meal and jumping on the scale. ha he knows me to well! My doctor wants me gain 14lbs UGH that is a lot.

Curve ball
I have been feeling sick again, but this time I think its straight up nerves. I am stressed out!!! I keep surpressing it because Eric has enough stuff to deal with. Tonight I just broke down and started crying. It starts with not having any money and waiting on some things that are suppose to come through. The simple fact that when you don’t have money to spend you want things more than you normally would. DEPRESSING!
Then tomorrow I go to the Mayo for an appointment knowing that next week I will be in the hospital for 3 days. This is my first time where I know I have to go in and be away from Ari. My heart breaks I tear up thinking about it. I hate being away from her. She is obviously in good hands my mom and friend tiff will watch her and Eric will be here after work.
This is not like a vacation even though people try to tell me that. This is like going to jail! Ok maybe not that bad, but if I leave my room I have to wear a mask and check in and out. That part really sucks plus push around an IV stand. People look at you like why are you walking around? you look ill. UGH Whatever it has to be done for me and my family. Im bringing the laptop so I will have contact with the outside world. Haha
Im also scared about what meds they will want to put me on. I think one will be Zyvox and that’s the med I wanna blame for my terrible nose bleeds last time that ended up in several visits to the ER and 2 cauterizations. I am also allergic to a very powerful antibiotic for one of my bugs. That really sucks because it works really good. So when I do come home I will have a PICC line which is different than an IV only because a Picc goes in your upper arm and into your heart. Where as a IV is usually on your hand or arm and just goes into your vain. I think the plan is to be on 3 different antibiotics and get rid of some of the bugs……………only for another one to take over the clean space. I will know more Friday when I meet with all of the docs and figure out the plan of attack. I hope to be feeling like a million bucks going into the Winter. UGH I don’t like that word. Someday we will migrate with the birds and leave the cold behind.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND
We had a WONDERFUL weekend! Friday we relaxed and watched a movie (Hot Tub Time Machine) It was stupid! But if you go into it expecting nothing it is pretty funny. Sat we went to Litchfield it was my Grandma's Birthday. We also celebrated my Dad's Birthday which was earlier in the week. It was GREAT! I got to see my bro Jer who works out of state and is only home every 3 weeks or so. We also stopped by my friend Mandy's to see the kids and visit. I love going back home and just chating it up. We went out for Pizza with everyone and then had an OREO DQ Cake after. AMAZING!! It was so Great watching Ari and Taylor play together. At one point it got really wild and they were both screaming and chasing each other around.
That was our first experience of Ari playing with another kid. It put a smile on both our faces. She plays so well with other kids. Because i stay at home she doesnt get all the kid interaction like she would at a daycare. Which is ok with me. I would rather her be healthy and not sick as much. Sunday we went over to Eric's Parents for dinner, It was nice everyone got together even Eric's grandparents came over. We had a great dinner. We almost finished a puzzle. I actually enjoyed doing it, i never use to like puzzles.
Today we CLEANED how fun! haha But its worth all the sweat and soreness. I love having a clean house!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
